Spotify links do not work here: Spotify protects its audio, so those links are refused, and its in-app transcripts, where a show has them, cannot be exported. Most podcasts are also on Apple Podcasts or their own website, so search there for the same episode and paste that public link instead. If the show is yours, upload the file you exported from your editor or host, up to 500 MB and 6 hours. Shows that are exclusive to Spotify cannot be transcribed.
Start TranscribingFrom episode audio to show notes
A transcript turns an episode into text you can search, quote and publish. Paste the episode page link or upload the audio, and Hear2Text returns timestamped segments you can edit in the browser. Accuracy is up to 99% on clear studio audio; music under speech, phone-quality guests and people talking over each other lower it, so check names and quotes before publishing. On the free plan you export TXT; paid plans add SRT and VTT for the video cut, Word and PDF, plus AI summaries you can shape into show notes.
Start TranscribingAsk questions about the episode
Once the episode is transcribed, ask the AI assistant about it: what the guest said about a topic, which moments are worth quoting, or a short outline you can turn into show notes. Every answer comes from the transcript, which carries timestamps so you can jump back and check. The assistant is part of the paid plans.
- Summarize an episode
- Pull out quotable lines
- Draft show notes
- Find where a topic comes up
How to get a podcast transcript
Find the episode outside Spotify, paste its link or upload the file, then edit and export.
- Step 01
Paste a non-Spotify link
Find the episode on Apple Podcasts or the show's website and paste its link, or upload your own episode file.
- Step 02
Let it transcribe
Hear2Text detects the language and transcribes the whole episode with timestamps, usually in minutes.
- Step 03
Review and edit
Read through, fix names and jargon in the browser, and replay any segment by its timestamp.
- Step 04
Export and reuse
Export TXT on the free plan, or SRT, VTT, Word and PDF on a paid plan, and turn it into notes or posts.

What you get from a podcast transcript
Full episode transcripts
Whole episodes up to 6 hours in one pass, in any of 100 languages, detected automatically.
Speaker labels
Every plan labels each voice as Speaker 1, Speaker 2 and so on, which makes interviews easy to follow.
Show notes drafts
On paid plans, AI summaries condense an episode into a draft you can edit into show notes.
Quotes you can verify
Every segment is timestamped, so you can find a line, check it against the audio and quote it accurately.
Searchable episode pages
A published transcript puts the spoken words of an episode on its page as text that search engines and readers can find.
